A healthy windows registry is equivalent to a healthy PC. Only one registry error is needed to make your system spiral down until it cannot be used any more. That is why you must keep your computer in tiptop shape for optimum performance. Regularly scan your PC for viruses and spyware to prevent errors in the registry. Of course, do not forget to always update your virus database and your security updates. Couple it with a good and reliable registry cleaner so that your registry will remain clean and your PC will continuously run smoothly. If you are an ardent internet surfer, and if you are fond of downloading freeware applications, you are open to different threats like Trojans, adware, spyware which then attach themselves to the registry keys. Once they are embedded, they cannot be removed manually. Only one error is needed to bog down your computer. These malicious entries from the downloaded programs can cause a very serious problem. They alter the file associations and prevent you from opening some of your executable files. They also freeze your system making you unable to work. In other cases, malwares can make your hardware not work and your system will not boot. Make sure that the registry cleaner that you will use is compatible to run for your system. For example, you are operating in Windows Vista, it should follow that the registry cleaner is also made to run in Windows Vista. Different operating systems work in different ways. If your cleaner is not made for your systems, chances are you will encounter more errors than cure your PC. To continue with the exquisite performance of your computer, it means that you must keep your registry in pristine condition. Before getting a registry repair tool, make sure that it has the features of being able to remove junk in your system and also protect you from malicious attacks on the internet. Take into consideration too that your registry software can protect you from blue screen errors. Memory tweakers must also be present to recover the memory of your computer, thus, making it run fast without making your system crash or freeze.
