Hopefully after reading this article I will have some light on this for you. I will give three steps you can do to help diagnose and repair the windows blue screen error. All these are tasks you can complete on their own before taking your computer to a repair shop. One thing I suggest is that before you start any of these suggestions, you sure have a restore point set of Windows (Windows for help if you are unsure of what a restore point) and also has important personal data files and backup software.

Step 1: Run a registry scanner to search for errors Most users do not know what the Windows registry file is the structure. When is really the central nervous system of the entire PC. This filegroup stores information about users, hardware, and each software program that is or has been installed on your PC. If a mistake or a piece of missing data in the log files for a particular program that may cause serious errors in Windows. Running a registry cleaner on your computer is an automated way to search for pc computer repair , remove or add information if necessary. You can download a tool to do this from a registry cleaner Regcure well recognized in the market. See the end of this article for a link to learn more about Regcure.

Step 2: Run Virus and Adware Scanners Most often a virus or spyware will not make the blue screen happen, but you can. So it’s important that you run the spyware removal software and spyware on a complete detailed exploration to find items. If you do not have a virus scanner or a scanner you can grab Adware free version of AVG antivirus and Lavasoft AdAware. Both products offer free, fully functional versions to run complete scans on your PC. This may take a couple of hours, depending on the amount of files you have, how big is your hard drive, etc.

Step 3: Remove and reinstall the software When the blue screen appears it is possible that it could be while your using the same exact program or program group. Take note if, for example, which always occurs when using Internet Explorer, or maybe a word processor. Sometimes, the files may be corrupt, with individual programs and is not an issue on all PCs. The easy way to solve this is to remove the program and reinstall it. You can accomplish this using the Add / Remove Programs area of Control Panel, and then reinstall the program. NOTE: Before removing any program make sure you have a backup copy of the program on CD / DVD, etc. Also make sure that all files that we created with this program, or personal preferences are a backup to ensure that not lose important files, etc. When you remove the program. What if none of this works? There are, of course, the possibility that none of this will improve the performance of your computer and you still receive the blue screen error. If this is the case, then you have two options.

First, you can restore your entire PC. This can be done with a DVD restore the computer manufacturer or formatting your hard drive and install Windows again. Remember again to back up important files and data before doing this because everything is lost if you go this route. The second alternative is to bring your computer into a repair shop and let them are going to eliminate the blue screen error. This will cost a few dollars, but if you’re not big on doing it yourself, this may be the best option.
