It&#039;s quite complicated and might be more trouble than just backing up and reinstalling, but it&#039;ll work. I&#039;ve done it before myself</description>

		<description>Sorry but the long and short of this answer is NO. you cannot alter/edit/repair/change any part of a windows registry if you cannot log into that installation. Windows reapair console will merely put the origional file back there, but it really depends on why you want to do it.
do you know wany one with a copy of ERD Commander?, this program can get into windows and do a system restore to an earlier time when windows cant boot, it is a very expensive bit of software tho. Failing that try thru safe mode, and if that dont work, its a format and re-install job, time to cut your losses, important data?, guess you better buy some hankies............
