Most free Registry cleaners just run the scan but don’t clean it up. I am looking for a free cleaner that will actually clean it up as well. I appreciate any help, I have been having lots of problems with my pc and it is because of the registry.

I would advise you not to use any Reg cleaner they are all useless and can corrupt core windows components. If you want to clean the registry just go into it yourself and delete all unknown files and anything thats looks like it should now be there, As long as it says its not Windows or other programs you will be fine. If its random numbers its probably a virus or spyware.
To get Regedit simple
Start menu>Run>Regedit
And you’ll be all good

CCLEANER,, its great, but it may not just be that,,
you want to see a good boost in performance before downloading anything, do this,,
first,, right click on my computer, choose properties , choose the advanced tab then choose performance,, click the 3rd option down that says set for best performance,
second, double click on my computer, on the all drives that are listed under local disks( which are hard drives) right click , then choose properties, at the bottom it should say disk clean up, choose that option and eliminate anything that comes up showing files,,
thirdly,, click on start then choose run , type msconfig, enter, then choose the setup tab, uncheck everything , except your virus software, finish that , then restart
and then after doing all those, and comp restarts, a box will come up saying configuration change, just check off the little box on bottom left that says dont show this again, then the ok button on the box
then at that time, you can download CCLEANER use this link

You can get a Free Registry Cleaner with other Free download which I tried and found my PC works now as good as new. I was recommended to try ACA Utilities by a friend. It turned out to be wonderful. Its speed impressed me first. All the disks and files I needed to scan and clean can be checked thoroughly and quickly. The effect is obvious. It is a good assistant. when choosing a cleaner and other alike tools, see which takes up less space, which has more functions, which has restore ( in case the tool delete or define sth spam which you don’t think so, actually all tools can’t make sure they won’t delete sth mistakenly)
then is the problem whether a tool is free or not. I’m not saying freeware is bad. But I think freeware is of single function so you may have to install a lot of programmes to realize some functions. and too many installs is a problem itself.
so as to a cleaner, I recommend wondershare.
