Registry Cleanup Software Comparison

When you use a computer for some amount of time it becomes slow. This is nothing new, every computer user experiences this sooner or later. After some recommendations from a friend I tried to install a free registry cleaner. It all looked all smooth and nice when I ran it. The same day I was also working on a important file for my work. It was a word document that was supposed to be done on Mondays. I worked on it for almost three hours that day, so I decided it was enough for one day. Before I switched off the computer I ran the temporary file cleaner. The next day when I woke up I powered up my computer to finish it. The boot screen loaded, but the computer suddenly powered off and rebooted. I had no choice but to wait. After that, windows booted correctly. Windows informed it ‘recovered from a critical error’. When I looked for the file it was gone. I was mad, because the temporary file cleaner must have deleted it. Knowing that, I mailed the author. After waiting two days, I got an response: ‘The filename contained a pattern that is automatically deleted by our registry cleaner’. That was the last time I used a free registry cleaner. However, I could have expected it. A registry cleaner made by an individual with limited resources is not as good as a commercial one. Commercial ones have the resources and the money to research errors and how to them properly. That way they can ensure that your system will be fixed the safe way.
